Large Air plant - Tillandsia xerographica

Our thoughts about this species

This is one of the newest air plants in our selection, which also known as 'The queen of air plants'. It grows a bit faster than other species and the greyish, curly leaves make them so special and beautiful. A lot of people don't believe at first that this is a living plant because it is quite thick and hard by touch. It is native to the desert areas of South-America and it requires the least amount of water of all species - it is enough to soak or mist it only 1-2 times a month. Always make sure that it has enough time to dry upside down after the watering - it ensures that the plant takes only as much water as it needs! This plant prefers a bright place and endures also direct sunlight!

If you need this air plant in a bigger quantity (min. 10 pcs), we are happy to give you a quotation by request!

Please note that the colour and size can slightly vary from the pictures.  We always try to send you a blooming plant but the plants are not always with a bloom exactly when ordered.

Optional accessories:

It is possible to order the product together with a misting spray bottle and air plant nutrient! The misting spray holds 100 ml and it's easy to use for misting the plant with water. The nutrient gives your plant a good support in growth and it strengthens the plant.

This species looks good also in a macramé wall hanger.
